This year, Meadow Brown Restaurants took an exciting step in rewarding its staff with an unforgettable trip to Budapest, one of Europe’s most captivating cities. With 21 dedicated team members in attendance, hand-picked by their peers from each of our sites across the UK, the journey was more than just a getaway. It was a unique opportunity to celebrate success, foster stronger relationships and enjoy a well-deserved break in a stunning destination.

After the incredible success of our trip to Host Milano last year, we couldn't wait to reward another group from our outstanding team with a brilliant abroad experience. This year, a group of Meadow Brown’s finest, each selected by their peers, embarked on a journey to Budapest. This annual trip not only serves as a way to recognise hard work, but it is also a chance for our staff to explore a beautiful city and build friendships from site to site.
Team Building
The trip was much more than just a break from the daily grind. It was a carefully planned opportunity for team building, where the group could come together and develop deeper relationships beyond the walls of their respective venues. Through a series of group activities, shared experiences and cultural explorations, we had the chance to bond in a way that simply isn’t possible in the busy work environment.
The Beautiful Location
Budapest itself provided the perfect setting for this memorable experience. Known for its stunning architecture, rich history and vibrant culture, the city offered a wealth of adventures for the team to explore. From walking along the banks of the Danube River to visiting iconic sites like Buda Castle and the Fisherman’s Bastion, each moment of the trip was filled with awe and inspiration. The team also indulged in Budapest’s renowned food scene, drawing inspiration for new culinary ideas and experiencing a different side of gastronomy.
