Set in the heart of Delamere Forest, a shady oasis in the midst of the agricultural landscape of the Cheshire Plain, run in partnership with Forestry England. Delamere, south-west of Manchester, is a place to let off steam, escape the crowds and find peace in the heart of the forest. Our family run restaurant serves quality, locally sourced food throughout the day. Come and join us at Delamere Forest Cafe. We provide the best quality food cooked fresh every day. We use eggs from Northwich Farm, meat from Country Food Services, vegetables from R Noone & Sons and bread from Chatwins Bakery.
Delamere Forest Café is located overlooking woodland, allowing you to stop off and take in the beautiful surroundings.
Our cafe offers a range of delicious options and refreshments made on-site by our skilled chefs. We offer a variety of meals and snacks to suit all tastes and also offer a range of Vegan and Vegetarian options. We use locally sourced produce including eggs from Northwich Farm, meat from Country Food Services, vegetables from R Noone & Sons and bread from Chatwins Bakery.

We now have a dog friendly area, so why not visit with your four-legged friend? Sit in our designated area and enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake.
Delamere is a place to let off steam, escape the crowds and find peace in the heart of the forest and attracts over 750,000 visitors every year.
The £9 million redevelopment project, the largest ever commissioned by Forestry England, has seen new access roads and improved car parking for 500 cars, a large eco-friendly timber framed visitor welcome building, new café, bike hire and toilets including accessible facilities.

Delamere Forest is accessible by its very own train station. You’ll find easy-going trails for all abilities, a hike to admire the view across to Liverpool’s famous skyline, orienteering courses for all abilities, Go Ape Outdoor Adventure, Segway Hire, or a bit of peace and quiet to watch the wildlife by the lake.
